Client Operations Manager (might consider Director level for the right candidate)

The Client Operations Manager is the leader of OneSpace content teams and plays a key role in implementation, daily support and growth of the content and image teams. They will be expected to be an expert in project management and content development and apply this knowledge to assist clients in meeting their marketing and content strategy goals.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Lead a team of Specialists by providing mentorship, direction, and ensuring issues with client and contributor satisfaction are proactively sought out and resolved for the best level of service.
  • Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of our e-commerce image creation process.
  • Enforce brand standards and quality assurance of all client deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities within clients’ e-commerce marketing and/or content strategy that can be improved via incremental investments in OneSpace products and services.
  • Have the ability to develop original and exciting conceptual ideas and bring visionary ideas to the table.
  • Own hiring, training, and onboarding of all new Specialists.
    Establish a meeting cadence with the team that has a career and skills development approach as well as running regular tactical touch bases.
  • Oversee daily operations, handling client escalations as needed and ensuring the team is meeting KPIs including growth and retention.
  • Assist with existing client pitches, strategy meetings, renewals and QBRs with enterprise clients.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Client Solutions to ensure client needs are being met.
  • Create and maintain an inspiring work environment where team members are motivated to perform at their highest level.
  • Oversee the core components of client content projects, including:
    • Working with Account Managers to understand client needs
    • Creating project instructions for freelancers that are clear and concise
    • Managing project plans and workflows within our proprietary software
    • Identifying areas for improvement on projects and proposing appropriate solutions
    • Reviewing and approving all project deliverables to ensure quality standards and project expectations are met
  • Establish procedures and processes that support OneSpace and departmental standards, values and strategic directives.
  • Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding client or team concerns.

TO WIN IN THIS ROLE, YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on marketing, advertising, business or other relevant area
  • 2+ years experience managing detailed projects
  • 5+ years experience managing clients and relationships
  • 3+ years of hands-on management experience with teams of five or more reports
  • Effective leadership and management skills:
    • Ability to inspire action
    • Experience coaching and guiding team members as they grow and develop
    • Ability to assess gaps and allocate resources
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills both verbally and in writing

  • Bonus points for past e-commerce, digital marketing and/or CPG experience
