Our first team member spotlight of 2016 features our new Content Project Coordinator, Jerrica Kowcheck. Joining the Client Success Department in early January, Jerrica may be new to OneSpace, but she brings over 10 years of marketing and project management experience to the team.

Born and raised in Washington, Pennsylvania, Jerrica moved to the St. Louis area last March, trading Pittsburgh’s pierogi for the cajun food at Broadway Oyster Bar, her new favorite here in the Lou.

“I love the restaurants and the live music here,” Jerrica shared. “And while I appreciate fine dining, I also put ketchup on my macaroni and cheese, and I carry a to-go, keychain bottle of Sriracha with me at all times.”

She’s creative and resourceful … a perfect fit for our OneSpace team!

Beyond her culinary interests, Jerrica has an impressive professional portfolio that highlights her communications expertise. From copywriting to digital marketing, she worked hard to learn the fundamentals and trends of such a dynamic industry.

When we asked her what past achievements she was most proud of, Jerrica said, “I wrote and managed the communications for the release of Dollar Bank’s Mobile App and Mobile Check Deposit. That included everything from the UX of the app to billboards, in-branch and digital materials, press releases and more.”

Once she met the Client Success team, she knew OneSpace was the right next step for her. (Spoiler alert: we thought so too!) The biggest challenge she foresees in her new role is learning to manage multiple large-scale content projects, while tackling new software.

Never one to back down from a challenge, Jerrica is already working hard to add these new skills to her arsenal. (This fearless attitude may explain her childhood crush on Hulk Hogan!) Judging from her successful track record, we are confident she will master these projects in no time.

Although she didn’t win the Powerball jackpot (le sigh), should she ever have the chance to go on an all-expenses paid vacation, Jerrica said she would love to backpack through Europe, stopping in London, France, Spain, Italy, Norway and Switzerland. She would most likely be jamming to country music, Bon Jovi and other hits from the 90s as she traveled, with a few Janet Evanovich books stashed in her backpack to read in her downtime.

If she does strike it rich one day, Jerrica says she wouldn’t be able to choose just one charity to support. “There are so many places that need help, I would definitely want to spread the love around! I would probably choose some Pittsburgh area charities too, to give back to my hometown community.”

From the “City of Bridges” to the “Gateway to the West,” it is clear that great things are on the horizon for Jerrica. We are thrilled to have her at OneSpace and are excited to see what big things she accomplishes with our team.
